On the topic of film as an instrument of social change, MPM's interview with the filmmakers of this docu on the plight and spirit of Uganda's conscripted child soldiers is a must-see/hear.

Interview by Moving Pictures contributor Eric Kohn.

Why we took on this project.
We came to understand the pervasiveness of the terrorists' hold on the people of Uganda.
Security was always on high alert as we were making this film.
Project completed but not over, the film garners positive response from within Uganda and filmmakers Fine and Nix keep in touch with the kids they met.
Our film impacts policy makers and the public by making the situation personal.
